Asus zenfone 2 — one of the first devices with 4GB RAM, it announced CES earlier this year, and now the device is up for pre-order in Chinese retailer Alibaba's marketplace AliExpress. There are two variants of the device available for choosing: a version with 2GB RAM that is priced at $299, and the 4GB model, which is on pre-order for $439.
As for the specs, the handset comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display, quad-core Intel Atom CPU, microSD card slot, 13MP camera at the back, 5MP front shooter, dual-SIM and LTE connectivity as well as a 3,000 mAh battery. On the software side of things, the Zenfone 2 runs Lollipop out of the box atop the latest version of Asus' Zen UI.
The device up for pre-order on AliExpress comes with 64GB internal memory, although there is 32GB version as well. Asus is also said to be launching a variant of the Zenfone 2 with a 720p screen that will be aimed at the entry-level segment.
