Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 rumoured to have dual camera from the Huawei P9 supplier

After the launch of the Xiaomi Max, a huge Xiaomi with large battery if any of you had managed to miss it, attention has now shifted to what Xiaomi could launch next. On the cards are a 2nd generation Xiaomi Mi Note 2 (rumoured to have a curved display like the Vivo Xplay 5), and then there are the 4th generation versions of both the Redmi and Redmi Note 4.

While its unlikely that we will see the Redmi Note 4 launch too soon (the Note 3 only came a few months back) it doesn’t mean that the supply chain for the phone hasn’t been solved which has lead to some interesting news.

Along with apparently getting a Mediatek Helio X20 chipset, the new Redmi Note 4 could also receive a dual camera rear camera set up supplied by the same manufacturer who supplied the sensors and lenses for the Huawei P9. If Xiaomi were able to offer the same hardware and similar camera performance to the P9 at the price point of the Huawei P9, it would really deal a blow to the Chinese tech giant even with their exclusive cooperation with Leica.

Other details which have emerged are that the Redmi Note 5 will retain a 5.5-inch screen size, all metal body and a fingerprint scanner.

First Ubuntu phone, how it different from Android and apple iPhone

Everyone know Ubuntu as a computer OS like windows and OSX ,but last week the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubunto Edition is being launched  in Europe.the Aquaris E4.5 is first phone power by ubuntu os .

The name reveals the screen size of 4.5 inches, and the qHD resolution of the IPS panel results in a pixel density of 244ppi. Running the show is a Mediatek chipset with its Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz. A single gig of RAM is onboard as well as 8GB of internal storage, of which 5.5GB are available to the user. A microSD slot offers expansion up to 32GB.

Hardware is not the main topic here, though, the new OS is. The Ubuntu for smartphone has long been in the works, and after years of development British company Canonical has managed to bring it to market. The new mobile OS is unique in concept, ditching the common app grid in favor of content-grouped tabs. Dubbed Scopes, the innovative interface learns from previous experience and aggregates user-specific content in easy to navigate panes.

Canonical is arriving late to the smartphone and tablet party, but says this is an advantage since it has seen the success of Android and will be able to build upon it.

Building upon it means producing a mobile operating system that puts the content you like most at your fingertips. Instead of grids of icons, which Canonical says are outdated, apps and content will be prioritised by 'scopes'. By the looks of it, these are very much like the carousel of recent content that you get on a Kindle Fire tablet.

Plus, when you swipe in from the left, you'll get a quick launcher full of your favourite apps. And, in a similar minimalist fashion to Windows 8, context-sensitive options are hidden off-screen until you swipe up from the bottom, leaving more room for the apps themselves. This isn't a success in Windows, as it's simply confusing, but it might work better on a smaller screen.
