Facebook Launches Desktop Version of the Messenger:

Facebook launched a desktop based messaging website for users.It is available for all Messenger App users.

User can chat with their friends by this Web site. You need a Facebook account to access this service.

A few months ago we saw that WhatsApp launched a web based messenger site for all WhatsApp Users.just like WhatsApp for Web ,Now Facebook Launched its messenger App for desktop users.Most of the mobile App features are available here (audio, voice calls, photos and stickers).

So what is the need of the new service? How it is different from the regular chat box ?

Facebook says this service is most helpful for busy users, who just use Facebook to talk with their friends. They can avoid the other Facebook content. This messenger service is consuming less data than the main site.It is Faster then main site.




This site looks simple. All the previous chat shows in left side of the website and a large chat threads on the right. You can search and send a new message to a friend by a small search box on the top - left corner.

WhatsApp voice calling feature:

After an extended  test, WhatsApp has added a free voice calling feature to its Android app. This makes WhatsApp more competitive against others App like Skype, Viber,wechat,line etc.

The WhatsApp voice calling feature is finally here for everyone. The most eagerly-anticipated Android feature we've seen in a long time is now rolling out everywhere  without any WhatsApp call  invitation required.The whatsApp is the most discussed topic in tech world for last couple of month .
last month i heard that many people receive whatsApp calling feature by invitation system.but i can't receive any official update from whatsapp which include calling features.Last week whatsApp update ,everyone receive calling feature.   

How to enable WhatsApp voice calls

 All you need to do is hit up the WhatsApp website and download v2.12.19.

WhatsApp call is not free ,unless you use a free wifi connection.both user have to pay data for whatsapp call ,but the caller need to pay more data.the call quality of whatsApp can't replace the regular call.For whatsapp call both user need active internet plan which is not free.

A min of WhatsApp call costs around 0.15 MB to 0.20 MB of 3G data. This means  5 min call costs around 1MB of 3G data. The call quality on 3G networks is decent but on 2G, there is a considerable amount of lag. Also, on 2G, a min of WhatsApp call costs around 0.35MB which is higher than 3G.

Without mobile internet plans, the standard data rates for most operators are 4p /10 KB (3G) and 10p / 10 KB (2G). This roughly translates to Re 1 per minute of WhatsApp call on 3G and Rs 2.50 per minute on 2G network.
